Graham Dick
President and Owner of Genesis

In typical E-Myth fashion, Graham began as a self-employed Technician and spent the majority of his time achieving technical excellence in every aspect of the restoration sciences. He then recognized the need to focus on developing his business skills, and has invested heavily in himself through consultants, mentors, reading, Toastmasters and much more.

Graham’s technical achievements, especially in the areas of mold and viral contamination, have placed him on Technical Advisory committees for IICRC (the largest industry certification body) and have enabled him to serve as a presenter and moderator for the Environmental Conferences held by ASCR/RIA (the largest international industry association).

Somehow, as Graham steers the company through an average growth rate of over 30% over 17 years, he has managed to squeeze in the time to give back to his industry and community. For 5 years, he built the British Columbia chapter of CCINW as chapter president and Treasurer of this regional association. For the past 4 years, he has served on the Board of Directors of ASCR/RIA and as an officer (see the Press release). ASCR/RIA is the only international association in this industry.

On a local level Graham has always been an active supporter of the Langley Chamber of Commerce, the Langley Food Bank and Fraser Valley Gleaners.

He recently served on the Langley Tourism think-tank, and is an active supporter of Compassion Canada and Nightshift Street Ministries, as well as his local Church.

Jonathan is married to Debbie and has three daughters, is totally enjoying all that British Columbia has to offer.

Ron Collins

Ron is now in his fourth year with Genesis as Senior Project Manager. His schooling specialized in construction, and since graduating Brixton College of Building he has amassed over 20 years experience in residential and commercial design and construction. He acted as a consultant for the Municipality of West Vancouver and supervised the construction of 47 custom homes in West Vancouver. As General Manager for a well-know local developer he supervised the construction of a 37 million dollar high rise development downtown. He has consulted with many lawyers on building issues and in litigation, and has qualified as an expert witness in the British Columbia Court System.

His passion for trouble shooting and his problem solving drive make him an ideal companion for clients, architects, consultants and building inspectors. He spends much time advising and instructing others on construction and restoration techniques, writing professional reports, building envelope design and maintenance problems. His considerable experience in fire and flood damage restorations has helped many an insured, and many an insurance company. From fires—ranging from a large apartment building that displaced 60 families, to high end custom built houses—to small basement floods, he is without doubt an expert in most areas of construction and restoration.
